Gremlin Fodder is a collection of my writings – poems, essays, and short stories. Topics covered range from God, marriage, and friendship to nature, dogs, running, and almond butter. The purpose of this blog is simply to share my writings. Second, I hope to get feedback, as I’d like to be a better writer. I’d also love to hear your thoughts on the stuff I cover. Third, in the hopes of not being entirely selfish, I’d like to inspire you to write, read, run, or do whatever you feel compelled to do.
The name Gremlin Fodder was inspired by Dr. Brene Brown’s book Daring Greatly. This blog / me sharing my writing is my version of daring greatly. It’s a great unmasking, an exposure of my soul, an absolute vulnerability. The gremlins are very much alive, telling me all the reasons I should not write and should absolutely not share what I’ve written with the world. But, here’s to daring greatly. Hence, food for the gremlins.
I welcome your feedback on my work. Thanks so much for taking the time to read. ~
