Your Way

You’ve got a way

Of slipping in, of blending in, of standing out

It struck me at the end of today

I was talking to you this morning

And you walked with me too in the evening

My heart finally feels still

After six years

In a hurricane, I was a beach house on stilts

How’d you find me in the dark sea

Why’d you call me out of the misery

You turned on a light

And fixed my foundation

The once violent sea is now glass

And what a rock is this salvation

You’re lining the streets

You’re on the shore

You’re in the sea

Everywhere I go, you meet me

You’re love’s unlike anything else I’ve seen

It’s a current, it’s the cure

The surf is pure

I want to walk with you

In the morning and the evening

All the time

Thanks for hearing me

I’m believing
