What’s it like to be the bad guy in the movies
How do people treat you in reality
Is each role worth it or just another fatality
In a tucked-in, button-up shirt
Hair slicked back
How many people on the screen do you hurt
Do you ever do the math
I heard a philosopher say: If you don’t feel a certain way about something, act like you do
It’ll make what you want come true
So what if you act like the bad guy
Deep down, what’s it imply?
If you hit women
If you steal, if you cheat
Do you study evil in order to act it out
Where is the line drawn
When does the study of evil become wrong
The wires in your head get crossed
The path to sin embossed
What do people say on the sidewalks
And the coffee shops
Bad guys make films that pay
Others watch to see the way
Do you change clothes after it all
Or wash your face
At home at night, do you meditate
Are you who you were made to be
It’s the question of reality
